Maghull Old Boys

Below is an image of the Maghull Old Boys kit for the game including team logo. Taking the "shake & bake" idea and using the Maghull High dragon creature thing to add a bit of flavour! (Ace ideas by Burke!). I'll likely change things as im not totally happy with the logo but it's nearly there!

Don't worry if you had your heart set on No.9 by the way, I just did that as a mock-up as no numbers have been sorted yet!

BG4 Game Date - 23rd August 08 (Confirmed)

Big Game 4 has been booked for Saturday the 23rd August 08 at 3pm. This is the August bank holiday weekend and all are welcome to come get wasted the Monday day for the Mathew Street Festival.

New Blog Look

Just changed the look of the blog, will make the header a bit more fancy when I get a chance too!

I've been doing a few video projects in After Effects the last 2 weeks in work and it rocks for special effects, so if anyone's interested, that's the main software i'll use alongside Premiere Pro for editing.

Big Game 4 pre-production under way

Concept work for Big Game 4 is now underway. The teams will be selected based on age as the theme is Old vs Young. On the rough team lineup, this should on paper produce a closer game than we had in BG3, although it wouldnt have been a carbon copy player base anyway.

We should be looking at around 8/9 aside at the outdoor pitches in Litherland Sports Centre. I've played here before and it should be the perfect venue, larger than bootle and everton (but not too big) and it's artificial grass, none of that lame astro-sand!

Lots of work ahead but it's a theme we could have some good fun with. Things like team names and general banter should help spice up the competitive juices in everyone.
